Old man: "In this life, ye'll be tempted by what seems like quick routes to yer desires. But mark me words, beware what ye become in the chase for what ye crave."

Young lad: "What mean ye, old salt?"

Old man: "Let's say ye be wantin' a chest of gold doubloons."

"You bet I do," replied the sprightly lad.

Old man: "So ye decide to plunder a bank, and lo and behold, ye've got yer treasure. But what have ye turned into?"

"A blasted bank robber," confessed the lad.

Old man: "And what be the fate of such scallywags?"

"The noose or the brig," admitted the lad.

Old man: "Exactly! Be mindful of the path ye tread, for in the pursuit of yer desires, what ye become be more crucial than what ye gain. Some seek happiness through shortcuts like grog or powders, but what do they morph into?"

"Sad souls, doomed to a wretched end," sighed the lad.

Old man: "Ye see, lad, in life, what ye become matters more than what ye snatch. When ye meet Davy Jones, it be not yer riches he counts, but the lives ye've touched. So mind yer course, for the legacy ye leave be the true treasure."

Arrr, heed these words, me hearties! Ambition be a fine compass, but beware strayin' into waters that'll drag ye to the depths. Sail wisely, and may yer legacy shine brighter than any stolen booty! This 2025 February clue activity can be done indoor or outdoors.
